EA and Respawn Entertainment have announced

EA and Respawn Entertainment have announced that Titanfall will be released on March 11th in North America and March 13th in Europe and Australia.

“Since we revealed the game in June we’ve been absolutely blown away by the reaction to Titanfall. The feedback we’re getting from fans around the world is fueling our team as we head towards March and motivating us to deliver an experience that lives up to the hype,” said Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella.

Set in the near future on a distant, war-torn frontier, Titanfall drops players in the middle of a conflict be

tween the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) and the Militia. The multiplayer-focused game allows the player to shift back and forth between pilot and titan and to change tactics “on the fly”, attacking or escaping depending on the situation.

The Titanfall: Collector’s Edition was also announced, which will be available for $249.99, features an exclusive collectible 18-inch hand-crafted Atlas titan statue with battery-powered LED lighting, a beefy art book featuring more than 190 pages of rare concept art and a big schematic poster of an Atlas titan mech.

Titanfall, which was officially revealed back at E3, is the first game from Respawn that will hit Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on March 11, 2014 in North America with a European launch two days later.
